Ensure all site activities, direct labour and sub-contract packages are carried out in strict accordance with the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan . Ensure, in liaison with the Commercial department, that all orders for materials, services and sub-contractors are in place and called off as required. We are looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join our fantastic South West Technical team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The role will see you provide the link between design and on-site construction by being the main point of contact for Technical issues within a Region. When appropriate to subsequently liaise with the Technical Team to ensure all matters are dealt with in a timely and cost effective way. TECHNICAL COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES: To work closely within the Region to understand their Technical needs and to act as a key link back into the Central Technical Team to ensure workloads are prioritised and met To help determine and manage consultant and sub-contractor proposals in conjunction with the Technical team To ensure all approvals are obtained and information received and issued to allow for a prompt start on site. By enhancing both the technical expertise and broader skillsets of our teams, this role will contribute directly to improving build quality, operational consistency, and customer satisfaction across the business CONSTRUCTION SITE TRAINER RESPONSIBILITIES: Create, develop, and maintain high-quality training programmes for Miller Homes Production and Site teams, ensuring compliance and competency requirements are consistently met. Deliver induction training modules at designated hub locations for new and existing Production and Site staff. Organise and manage key training programmes, including site management development initiatives and Production and Site focused modules. Conduct site visits to coach and support learners in their working environment, ensuring learning is embedded into day-to-day practice. CONSTRUCTION SITE TRAINER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively, and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
