Group Commercial Manager Office Location: Aston, Birmingham Sector: Building Materials Group Commercial Manager - The Opportunity We are seeking a Group Commercial Manager to join an established building materials business, to take ownership, manage and optimise the commercial product portfolio by overseeing stock levels, product coding accuracy and stock related campaigns across the network. The Group Commercial Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating and presenting new product opportunities that complement and strengthen the exisitng Group offering. A key element of this position involves negotiating terms with suppliers, managing those relationships, margin performance and understanding product data to allow informed commercial decisions to be made and guide promotional strategy. The company provides architectural services & technical drawings, so applicants will need to have a strong background in CAD design and have knowledge of the industry. Surveyor Shifts Monday Friday Core hours 09 30 - Onsite only no hybrid options available The ideal candidate will also have strong communication skills and be comfortable liaising with customers, third-party specialists and governing bodies. Surveyor Responsibilities: Go to customer site visits to measure up the properties so that CAD calculations can be drawn up Design the customer spec on AutoCAD software Lease with customers and keep them up to date on the project Design modifications as and where needed Lease with governing bodies like building regulations and local councils to ensure that planning permission is granted Cradle to grave project management Communication with customers to establish project scope. Technical measured survey of existing site and buildings. Translating the project proposal from concept into a 3D AutoCAD model. Liaising with 3rd party specialists to achieve engineered solutions.
