Estates and Facilities Officer Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf / Caerphilly area Contract: Fixed-term Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Pay: 27,780 to 29,844 per annum equivalent Start: Immediate Interviews: ASAP Positions: 2 initially, with potential for more We are recruiting for 2 Estates Officers to join a busy FE college in the Rhondda Cynon Taf on a fixed-term basis, with an immediate start. This is a hands-on, varied and operational role and would suit someone with previous experience in estates, facilities, maintenance, security, caretaking or a trade-related environment. The role: Carrying out general estates, facilities and maintenance duties Supporting the day-to-day operation and upkeep of the college Ensuring the site is safe, secure and well maintained Responding to general maintenance and facilities requirements Working as part of a busy estates team Travelling between college campuses across the Rhondda and Caerphilly areas when required The role can be physically demanding About you: Previous experience in estates, facilities, maintenance, security, caretaking or a similar practical role is essential Practical, reliable and hands-on approach Comfortable working in a busy environment Able to carry out physically demanding duties where required Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Willing and able to travel between sites across the Rhondda and Caerphilly areas Previous education experience is not essential Must be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS and register it on the Update Service Must be able to provide 2 professional references An Enhanced DBS already in place and registered on the Update Service would be advantageous Important: This is an urgent requirement , so candidates must be: Available to interview ASAP Available to start immediately following a successful interview and onboarding Able to commit to the required hours and travel between sites If you have the relevant practical experience, full driving licence and are available for an immediate start, please apply with your CV today. 27,780 to 29,844 Fixed-term 37 hours Immediate start Rhondda/Caerphilly

School Caretaker - OX15 Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 weeks Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm Pay: 17 - 22 per hour DOE We are currently looking for an experienced School Caretaker to join a school in the OX15 area on a temporary basis for around 6 weeks. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to ensure the school site is safe, secure and well maintained , including: Opening the school each morning and carrying out site checks. General maintenance and minor repairs. Ensuring the school site is safe and secure. Setting up rooms for lessons, meetings and events. Managing deliveries and contractors. Maintaining outdoor areas and grounds. Responding to maintenance, health and safety and site issues. Reporting any faults or repairs that require further attention. The ideal candidate will have: Previous caretaker, site assistant or maintenance experience. Good practical and DIY skills. A reliable and proactive approach. Good awareness of health and safety. The ability to work independently and respond to issues quickly. Previous experience working in a school or similar environment would be advantageous.
