ASME Engineering Ltd is looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding structural steel components to a high standard while working safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and weld structural steelwork from engineering drawings. Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications. Carry out MIG welding to a high standard. Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely. Assemble steel components accurately and within tolerances. Perform quality checks on completed work. Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Follow all company Health & Safety procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder in a structural steel environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Competent in MIG welding (structural steel experience preferred). Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Right to work in the UK. Desirable CSCS Card. Overhead crane or forklift experience. Experience working with architectural or structural steel.

ASME Engineering Ltd is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing day-to-day transactions, and supporting the smooth running of the company's financial operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping. Process purchase and sales invoices. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards. Process supplier payments and monitor outstanding invoices. Prepare VAT returns and assist with HMRC compliance. Support month-end and year-end financial processes. Maintain the company cashbook and financial records. Assist with payroll preparation (if required). Liaise with suppliers, customers, and external accountants. Ensure all financial information is accurate and up to date. Carry out general finance and administrative duties as required. Requirements Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role. Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices. Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Right to work in the UK.
