You'll work on everything from essential testing & inspection and emergency callouts to specialist lighting systems including RAKO, Lutron, and Crestron. As our client continues to expand, they re looking for skilled, motivated electricians to become a key part of their trusted team. The Electrician Role: Our client is seeking a confident and experienced Qualified Electrician to take ownership of projects across London and Essex. This role offers huge variety, blending planned installations, fault-finding, essential maintenance, and emergency repairs.You'll ensure every job is completed to the highest standard, requiring attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive, professional attitude. Key Responsibilities of the Qualified Electrician Include: Carrying out all aspects of electrical installation, repairs, and maintenance. Performing detailed testing and inspection work (EICRs, PAT testing, etc.). Quickly and effectively diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults. Responding to emergency callouts when required. Ensuring full compliance with the current wiring regulations (BS 7671) and company procedures. Liaising professionally with clients, site managers, and our office staff. Maintaining accurate documentation and reports for all work. What You'll Need to Succeed Fully Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). Proven, practical experience in domestic and/or commercial environments. Excellent fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A Full UK Driving Licence (Manual). Desirable: Valid ECS / JIB Gold Card and a Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent). Overtime paid at a generous Time and a Half rate (£30 - £36 p/hour). 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays and a few days over Christmas), with the chance to earn up to 4 additional days based on service.
