The role: As Engineer, you will take ownership of matters from early feasibility stages through to onsite delivery and completion. Manage infrastructure for residential developments from feasibility through to site delivery Coordinate and secure all technical information, approvals, quotations, agreements, and onsite service connections Liaise with utility providers, consultants, local authorities, highways, environmental agencies, and warranty providers Support the appointment and management of providers and external consultants Review legal agreements, easements, and utility-related documentation alongside external legal teams Attend pre-start meetings, site meetings, and project reviews to support delivery and programme performance, these are carried out weekly Ensure technical drawings and information are distributed accurately and on time across Construction, Commercial, and Sales teams Provide ongoing technical support and practical problem-solving across departments Assist with feasibility studies and advise on utility budget costs during early project stages Support compliance with CDM Regulations and contribute to safe, effective project delivery About you: Experience managing provision within residential housing or construction developments Knowledge of utility companies, industry procedures, legislation, and regulatory frameworks Understanding of CDM Regulations Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Excellent organisation and coordination abilities A proactive and solutions-focused mindset The ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong working relationships Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail We believe Harron Homes is a place for everyone, no matter where you come from, what you look like or how you identify. We are looking for an organised and proactive Technical Coordinator to join our expanding technical department. This is a brand new role that will play a vital part in supporting the delivery of high quality residential developments across North Midlands. Working alongside our Technical Director and wider technical team, you will ensure projects run smoothly by coordinating technical information, maintaining accurate documentation and supporting the delivery of multiple developments from planning through to construction. The role: Managing technical documentation, drawings, reports and specifications using document management systems. Maintaining accurate document registers, filing systems and project records. Coordinating information between Technical, Land, Commercial, Construction and Sales teams. Monitoring project milestones, planning conditions, statutory approvals and consultant deliverables. Organising technical meetings, preparing agendas and producing meeting minutes. Ensuring documentation complies with company procedures, quality standards and Health & Safety requirements. Your experience: Previous administrative experience within Construction, Housebuilding, Engineering or Property sector. Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Experience managing technical or confidential documents. Strong IT skills Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with both internal teams and external consultants. Adoptions Engineer - Yorkshire Ready to take ownership and shape the future of infrastructure adoptions at Harron Homes? As our business continues to grow, we are creating a brand new opportunity for an Adoptions Engineer to establish and lead our infrastructure adoption function across Yorkshire. This exciting opportunity is to establish and develop the infrastructure adoption function, helping to shape best practice across our Yorkshire developments and supporting the business in delivering timely, compliant and cost effective asset adoptions. The role: Lead the adoption process across multiple residential developments from construction through to final adoption. Manage and coordinate highway, drainage and utility adoption agreements. Develop and implement robust adoption tracking and reporting procedures. Build strong working relationships with local authorities, water companies and statutory undertakers. Work alongside technical team and site teams to ensure infrastructure is designed and constructed to the standards required for adoption. Identify and resolve technical or procedural issues that could delay adoptions. Arrange and attend inspections with adopting authorities. Coordinate the completion of remedial works and manage defect resolution. Monitor adoption programmes and provide regular progress updates to senior management. Review engineering drawings, as build information and technical documentation. Maintain accurate records relating to agreements, inspections, certificates and adoption status. Identify risks associated with delayed adoption and work proactively to minimise commercial exposure. Champion continuous improvement by developing best practice for adoption management across the business. Your experience: Experience within the housebuilding, civil engineering or residential infrastructure sector. A sound understanding of the adoption process for highways, drainage and associated infrastructure. Knowledge of Section 38, Section 278 and Section 104 agreements. Familiarity with SuDS, drainage, and residential infrastructure construction. Experience working with local authorities, water companies and consultants. The confidence to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with multiple teams. About you: Strong organisational and project coordination skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Confident and influential, able to communicate with people at all levels and driving progress through effective relationships.
