My clients, who are the main contractor, are about to start work on a 5m commercial refurbishment and fit-out project in Bristol. The project starts next week and due to a last minute change of plan they require a Senior Site Manager / Project Manager to lead the project from start to finish. You must have similar project experience working for a main contractor and hold SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and a relevant CSCS card. You must be computer literate and ideally have used Procore software or a similar package previously. On offer is a long term start, for the duration of the project, with the potential of further work in the area afterwards as they have secured additional projects. The Candidate You will ideally have a number of years previous experience of working for a principal contractor as a Contracts Manager or maybe Site Manager looking for the next step up, with a varied portfolio of projects that you have been involved in previously, ideally encompassing mezzanine floor projects along with refurbishment / fit-out projects. You will be diligent, computer literate, confident and have the ability to lead site teams. You will have a confident approach to your work and be able to get on with people from all walks of life and be pro-active in your outlook. The Role As a Contracts Manager you will take delivery and responsibility for a number of projects ranging in values and type, your time will be split between site and the head office as required and you will report in to the Directors of the business. Responsibilities will include taking projects from initial enquiry through to completion and client handover including managing site teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects. I am currently recruitng for a Senior Site Manager to work for one of my main contractor clients on a project in Cardiff. Works will include window replacement, roofing works, ceilings, partitions, concrete repairs, mechanical works and scaffolding, all on an existing building. Reporting to the on-site project manager, you will take resonsibility for a section of on-site operations. Previous experience of working for a main contractor on similar projects is ideal. You will also need to have SMSTS, First Aid and a relevant CSCS card as a minimum. Idealy you will have used Procore software previously as well. On offer is long stetch of work up to 18 months in duration and rates are negotiable depending on previous experience. Assistant Site Manager required to start immediately on a 3m commercial refurbishment project in Nailsea. Duties will involve supporting the senior site manager in the delivery of the project which is the internal and external refurbishment, including roof works of an office development. Duties will vary depending on previous experience. You will ideally have at least 1 years experience of working on a construction site, which could have been during a degree year out and hold a CSCS card as a minimum.
