We're looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter w/ SMSTS for an ongoing project in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. You'll be supervising a small gang of Fire Stoppers and Carpenters on an occupied residential block of apartments. Duties: Supervision of remedial works, fire door installation and fire stopping. Upload data using the One Trace software system. Report directly to the client with any issues/concerns. Ensure all works are being completed to a high standard and up to regulation. Occasional install of fire doors (maximum per day) Requirements: SMSTS Blue/Gold CSCS - Carpentry/Joinery Strong IT skills Own tools & PPE Must have relevant experience and a strong background with Fire Protection / Fire Door installation. Experience using OneTrace Software (Not essential, Training can be provided) Job Info: 8:00am to 5:30pm - Monday to Friday. 18 weeks of work Ongoing work on other projects once this one completes is highly likely. We're currently looking for an experienced Counter Balance Forklift Operator for a construction project in Poplar, East London (India Dock). You'll be operating a Counterbalance forklift to unload deliveries, assist with general labouring duties around the site and operate a hoist (training provided) As this is a construction project, a valid CSCS card is required. Details: 10 hours paid per day - 7:30am to 5:30pm. (Breaks are paid) Over 12 months work. Good rates on offer + rate. You'll be trained to operate a Hoist Lift. Requirements: CSCS card. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging projects involving temporary works, demolition, RC alterations and structural reconfiguration. Key duties include: Managing costs from pre-construction through to final account Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and variations Cost reporting and forecasting Subcontract procurement and account management Identifying risks and opportunities across projects Liaising with clients, main contractors, and site teams Requirements: 5+ Years Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within cut & carve / structural alterations / demolition / RC works. The suitable candidate will have direct experience within a similar role working for an rcframe sub-contractor. Key Responsibilities: Manage day to day site operations and coordinate all phases of construction. Oversee subcontractors, site personnel, and ensure timely project delivery. Ensure all health, safety, and environmental requirements are met. Track progress against programme and report to senior management. Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with all building regulations. Requirements: Strong subcontractor background with experience managing similar projects (Frames, basements, etc) Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction sequencing. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and subcontractors effectively. Must be experienced and hold a valid NPORS/CPCS. 14Tonne Excavator. 6 days a week (1.5x rate on Saturday) 7:30am to 5:00pm. You'll need to pass a D&A test on induction.
