My client are an award winning architectural practice based in Chelmsford, Essex and are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician who is qualified to HNC standard, with a good knowledge of AutoCAD is essential and a minimum of two years-experience is required working on residential projects. A good understanding of the Building Regulations and NHBC Standards is preferable. Candidates should have experience of producing working drawings and construction details, along with a good understanding of the planning process. You will need to be flexible, enthusiastic, able to work to tight deadlines and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. Our client is a privately owned architectural practice based near Banbury; clients work consist of new buildings, heritage / conservation, refurbishment, alterations and other construction projects. As the successful candidate you will have experience of heritage projects and can work on the repair and survey of historic buildings. As the successfull candidate you will be AABC accredited with specific Conservation or Heritage project experience - the AABC accreditation that certifies architects as competent in the conservation, repair, and adaptation of historic buildings. Software: Must be conversant with all packages in Microsoft Office AutoCAD / Revit
