About the Role Caretaker / Site Supervisor , you will be responsible for: Site security - unlocking/locking the premises and ensuring the site is secure at all times General maintenance - carrying out minor repairs and DIY tasks to ensure the building and grounds are well-maintained Health & Safety - maintaining a safe environment, completing checks, and ensuring compliance with regulations Cleaning and hygiene support - supporting the cleaning team and ensuring facilities are kept to a high standard Contractor liaison - supervising external contractors and monitoring works carried out on site Grounds maintenance - overseeing the general upkeep of outdoor areas Emergency response - responding to any urgent maintenance issues or call-outs as required About You We are looking for someone who is: Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Practical with a good range of maintenance/DIY skills Able to work independently and take initiative Committed to maintaining a safe and secure school environment Friendly, approachable, and able to build strong relationships with staff and students Flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of the school Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
