The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation and maintenance works in accordance with HS2 standards, site procedures, and health & safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installation, testing, and maintenance works across HS2 construction sites Work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary site gang Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and method statements Install containment systems, cabling, lighting, power supplies, and associated equipment Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations, HS2 specifications, and site safety requirements Identify and report defects, hazards, or non-conformances Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and site professionalism Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site About the Candidate Essential Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and site safety procedures Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Confident working from technical drawings and plans Competencies & Certifications (One Required) JIB Electrotechnical Certification OR ECS Gold Card or ECS White/Brown Card OR CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card Desirable (Not Essential) Previous experience working on HS2 or major infrastructure projects IPAF / PASMA Knowledge of rail or tunnel environments What We Offer Long-term work on a flagship UK infrastructure project Competitive rates with consistent hours Opportunity to work within a high-performing, safety-driven team

Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day site activities on a busy cycleway and highways environment Oversee and coordinate subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery Review, interpret, and work from technical drawings Support change control processes and maintain accurate site documentation Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications Report progress, issues, and updates to the site management team Maintain strong communication channels across the project team and stakeholders Requirements SSSTS or SMSTS essential Strong civils / highways / public realm background Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Competent with computers and site documentation processes Experience managing subcontractors Strong communication and organisational skills Previous experience on cycleway, highways, active travel, or infrastructure schemes is desirable Why Apply?
