URGENT GRP Operatives / Laminators Required Cambridge We are urgently looking for 12 GRP Operatives / Laminators for a major project in Cambridge . This is an excellent contract opportunity with strong hours, an 11-day work pattern and competitive rates. Start: ASAP / next available site induction Location: Cambridge Duration: Approx. 5 months Working pattern: 11 day rotation / 106 hours per fortnight Rates: £23.45 basic, £32.83 OT1, £42.21 OT2 - (PAYE ONLY, NO LTD) Bonus will be discussed 11-day gross wage: Approx. £3,168.40 including bonus Accommodation / travel allowance: Provided where applicable We require operatives with experience in GRP pipework, GRP ducting, fibreglass laminating or hand lay-up work. The main work will involve preparing and laminating site joints using resin and glass fibre on GRP ducting and pipework. Main ducting sizes are 600mm and 400mm, with smaller offtakes down to 100mm. Pipework will be set in pre-installed supports. Relevant experience includes: GRP pipework installation GRP ducting installation GRP hand lay-up / wet lay-up Fibreglass laminating Preparing and laminating joints Resin and glass fibre work Mould making / workshop laminating Vehicle body building Marine / boatbuilding laminating Composite repairs GRP / FRP tanks, linings, panels or enclosures If you have hands-on experience with resin, glass fibre, laminating, moulds, joints, pipework, ductwork or fibreglass repairs, we want to speak with you. Candidates must be reliable, available quickly and able to work to site specifications.
