Are you a Retrofit specialist, seeking a new permanent role in the social housing sector?My client has an immediate opportunity for a Retrofit Project Manager to join their Environment & Sustainability Team on a permanent basis.The successful applicant will project manage the delivery of retrofit works throughout the region, reporting into the Decarbonisation Manager. Responsibilities: Project manage the delivery of energy improvement works within the retrofit programme ensuring it is delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget. Ensure the retrofit process is compliant with PAS 2035 and all relevant legislation, including health and safety and CDM Regulations. Manage relationships with customers, responding to queries and complaints in a timely manner. Monitor performance of contractors including appropriate oversight of work on site. Lead regular contract meetings and collaborate with key stakeholders. Prepare project briefs, descriptions of work and specifications to enable the procurement of sustainability projects. Review and approve packages of energy improvement measures and associated designs, including architectural drawings. Manage project budgets, invoices and accruals, liaising with the Finance team when necessary. Requirements: Experience of managing planned programmes of work, preferably within the housing or similar sector. Experience of delivering energy improvement works. Strong knowledge of retrofit, PAS2035 and best practice. Extensive knowledge of the CDM, Asbestos awareness, all other regulations relevant to the delivery of retrofit works. Experience of managing multiple supply chain stakeholders, including contractors, designers and consultants. Job Title: Damp and Mould Repairs Manager Type: 9 Month FTC Location: Bristol Salary: £53,309 per annum (FTE Equivalent) Hours: 37 hours BRC are working closely with a leading social housing provider to recruit a Damp & Mould Repairs Manager. This is a key role leading the organisation's approach to damp and mould repairs, ensuring customers live in safe, warm and healthy homes. You will drive high service standards, ensure statutory obligations are met, and lead a specialist team dedicated to resolving damp and mould cases effectively and empathetically. Duties: Leading a specialist Damp & Mould team to deliver excellent customer service. Managing damp and mould repair contracts, ensuring value for money and high-quality delivery. Working with repair partners to manage live cases and maintain consistent customer communication. Using customer feedback and performance data to drive service improvements. Implementing strong monitoring, reporting and forecasting processes. Providing technical expertise on damp and mould diagnosis, ordering and supervision of works. Acting as the escalation point for complex technical cases, complaints and disrepair claims. Managing budgets, procurement processes and KPIs related to damp and mould works. Keeping up to date with best practice, legislation and compliance requirements. Delivering strong leadership aligned to organisational values. Requirements: Degree-level or relevant construction/building qualification. Significant experience in property management, including damp & mould, repairs or planned maintenance. Strong technical understanding of building pathology. Experience in contract and project management. Knowledge of CDM Regulations, asbestos, and safe systems of work. Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills. Ability to manage budgets, KPIs and forecasting. Excellent IT skills and ability to develop effective control systems.
