ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN POSITION : Architectural Technician LOCATION : Commutable from Grimsby, Scunthorpe, York , Hull , Doncaster, Beverley , Selby SALARY AND BENEFITS : £35k excellent benefits, pension, life insurance THE ROLE : This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician to join our client who are a successful and well respected multi disciplinary consultancy based in Yorkshire. This role can be hybrid if required, working a 37.5 hour week. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Work on a variety of projects within the Commercial, Residential and Conservation sector. Working on all stages of assigned projects as part of a team and individually as required. Liaising with other members of the design team and clients developing a design brief. Managing numerous jobs simultaneously, producing working drawings/specifications and checking/amending similar work drafted by others. Preparing and submitting Planning Applications on a variety of projects. Producing high quality detailed technical drawing packages using AutoCAD (required) and ArchiCAD (Desirable) Software. Attending client/site meetings. YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING : Previous experience working as an Architectural Technician. Minimum HNC/HND level qualification in a relevant subject Proficiency in AutoCAD essential (ArchiCAD desirable but not essential). Strong technical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. The desire to progress within the practice. Ability to work independently and within a team. Excellent time management and an ability to meet deadlines. Strong knowledge of UK Planning, Building Regulations and building construction detailing experience. Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle with business insurance. They have multiple offices across the Yorkshire region so some travel between offices will be required as the Architectural staff under your supervision/ management will be based in different locations, so a base anywhere in the Yorkshire region should work well.
