PROPOSALS MANAGER / BID MANAGER - INFRASTRUCTURE POSITION : Proposals Manager LOCATION : Sheffield , Nottingham , Newark , Lincoln , Leicester , Mansfield , Doncaster, Rotherham, Grantham. Hybrid. THE ROLE : This is a great opportunity for an experienced Proposals Manager / Bid Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-quality bids across Rail, Highways, Energy and Nuclear. You ll manage the full bid lifecycle, working with technical, commercial and operational teams to produce compelling, compliant and competitive submissions that support business growth. This is a hybrid role with the maximum of 4 days working from home with the office day being every Tuesday SALARY AND BENEFITS : Up to £70k + pension KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Manage bids from initial opportunity assessment through to final submission. Write, edit and review high-quality technical and commercial proposals. Analyse tender documentation and ensure submissions meet client requirements. Develop bid strategies and win themes with internal stakeholders. Coordinate technical experts and manage deadlines across multiple bids. Support post-submission activities, including clarifications and feedback. Identify opportunities to improve bid quality and processes. REQUIREMENTS : At least three years bid or proposals management experience within infrastructure. Experience in Rail, Highways, Energy or Nuclear. Excellent technical writing, editing and organisational skills. Proven ability to manage multiple bids and work with senior stakeholders. Strong understanding of tender processes and compliance requirements. APMP qualification desirable. CIVILS SITE SUPERVISOR POSITION : Civils Site Supervisor LOCATION : Glasgow - South . SALARY AND BENEFITS : Up to £50k +OT after 40 hours , plus van and fuel card, pension. THE ROLE : This role will suit a Civils Site Supervisor with a strong background in civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure, ideally with experience working around substations, electrical infrastructure or other technically complex sites. Projects typically run for around three months before moving onto the next site, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling throughout Scotland. As Civils Site Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering works associated with substation and utility infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising civils teams, subcontractors and site activities Managing day-to-day civils works on substation and infrastructure projects Coordinating excavation, foundations, drainage, ducting, concrete and reinstatement works Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements Managing site activities to programme and identifying potential delays or issues Coordinating interfaces between civils, electrical and other project disciplines Conducting site briefings, toolbox talks and ensuring site teams work safely Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to the required standard Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and client representatives Ensuring RAMS, permits and other site documentation are in place and adhered to Supporting site inspections, progress reporting and handover activities Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING : Previous experience as a Site Supervisor / Site Manager within civils, utilities or infrastructure Strong experience with groundworks, excavation, ducting, drainage, foundations and concrete works Experience managing subcontractors and site teams Good understanding of construction programmes, RAMS and site documentation SSSTS qualification essential Full UK Driving Licence Willingness to travel and work across Scotland To find out more about the Civils Site Supervisor role please contact Steve Ball on the number provided Steve Ball Recruitment Ltd are a recruitment business specialising in the delivery of recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
