Logistics Manager / Gateman Brighton 80 Week Contract Start: Mid July We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Logistics Manager / Gateman for a major construction project in Brighton. This is a long-term opportunity on a busy site, with approximately 80 weeks of work available for the right candidate. The role will be responsible for managing all site logistics, coordinating deliveries, controlling access to site and ensuring the smooth movement of personnel and materials throughout the project. Due to the location, there is no on-site parking, making logistics planning and coordination critical to the success of the project. Key Responsibilities: Managing all site deliveries and vehicle movements Controlling access and egress to site Coordinating delivery schedules with site management teams Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and drivers Managing road closures and traffic management requirements where necessary Ensuring site access remains safe and efficient at all times Maintaining site visitor and delivery records Supporting the project team with general logistics planning Requirements: Previous experience as a Logistics Manager, Logistics Coordinator or Gateman on busy construction projects Experience working on medium to large-scale construction sites Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple deliveries and competing site demands CSCS Card required Traffic Marshal qualification beneficial Ability to work closely with site management and subcontractors This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Main Contractor on a significant project with long-term work available. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HSQE, Health & Safety or compliance administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
