About our client Our client is a well-established, independent property management company based in Surrey, managing a residential portfolio across South London and the surrounding area. They're a small, close-knit team who work across the portfolio together rather than in departments. The role This is an opportunity to join as an assistant property manager, supporting a senior property manager across a shared portfolio. It would suit someone with a background in property support, lettings, or client-facing coordination who's ready to move into a block management role. You'll be trained on legal management packs as you go and get broad exposure across the portfolio rather than being limited to one narrow strand of the job. What you'll be doing Handling day-to-day enquiries from leaseholders and residents Supporting on leak investigations and insurance claims Getting involved in legal management packs and building your understanding of these over time Assisting with Fire, Health and Safety actions and AGMs Issuing service charge year-end packs and Section 20 notices Liaising with contractors and getting quotations together Skills and experience Essential Experience working within the property sector Strong customer service background Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Desirable Experience with legal management packs, or a willingness to learn this quickly Background in lettings or property administration, looking to progress Why join them This is a genuinely supportive environment for someone looking to develop their property management career, with hands-on training and a fully office-based role.
