Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Operatives - Plumbers, Multi-traders, Electrical Engineers, Gas Engineers, Carpenters. Salary: £40k - £50k pa , depending on role and experience Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (On-call rota will apply) The ideal candidates will be based in Hertfodshire, Bedfordshire, North West London, Berkshire and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Plumbers, Maintenance Operatives , Electrical Engineers, Gas Engineers, Carpenters to join facilities maintenance team. You will play a key role in ensuring that buildings and facilities are maintained to a high standard across hospitality and retail clients. Key Responsibilities Carry out reactive repairs and some planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across various sites Undertake plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical tasks, gas tasks, multi-trade, and general building fabric maintenance tasks Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used Liaise with clients and internal teams Requirements Proven experience in a facilities maintenance or building services role Good working knowledge of trade - carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, gas work, multi-trade etc. Full UK driving licence (essential) NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade (preferred) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and time management skills Desirable Experience working in commercial Retail and Hospitality environments (e.g. shops, restaurants, pubs etc.) What We Offer Competitive salary and overtime opportunities Company vehicle and fuel cards Tools, uniform, and PPE provided Pension scheme Training and development opportunities Supportive team environment How to Apply If you're a skilled and proactive operative with a passion for quality maintenance work, we want to hear from you!
