You'll be working on a wide range of steel projects-from industrial units and portal frames to complex multi-storey structures. What You'll Be Doing Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for structural steelwork projects Analyse project drawings, specifications, and tender documents Liaise with clients, main contractors, engineers, and suppliers to gather pricing and technical information Conduct material take-offs and prepare cost breakdowns for labour, materials, and subcontractors Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and alternative solutions Attend pre- and post-tender meetings where required Support handover to the contracts team and assist with procurement planning What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating within structural steel, construction, or a related sector Strong understanding of steel fabrication, erection processes, and associated costs Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Commercially aware with strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Why Join Our Client?
