Contractor Compliance & CDM Advisor Salary: Circa 52,000 dependent on experience Location: Stevenage with regular travel to Bristol and Bolton required (3-4 days a week on-site) This is a 2-year fixed-term contract Support and deliver a diverse range of construction and facilities projects. This role is predominantly based at the Stevenage site but with regular travel to other UK sites. Key Responsibilities: To support the Contractor Compliance and CDM Manger to deliver competent advice to the facilities management (FM) team and wider business to ensure compliance Collate and report back on statistical information around contractor working Assist with and/or carry out accident/incident investigations Take part in both internal and external audits Work closely with maintenance service provider to ensure compliance against procedures and Regulations Travel across the UK Estate to support the wider FM team Requirements: Proactive Principal Designer with a strong focus on implementation of the CDM 2015 Regulations. NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Diploma (Level 6 preferred) IOSH Membership IMaPS/CMaPS would be desirable Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Nationals. Water Mains Engineer Field-Based Dorset, Tunbridge Wells, East Sussex, Surrey & Dartford Areas 32-36K + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits Paid Travel Time Are you an experienced Water Mains Engineer looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? We're looking for skilled engineers to join a growing team carrying out customer-side water mains repairs, leak detection and new service installations across domestic properties. If you enjoy problem-solving, working outdoors and delivering a high standard of customer service, we'd like to hear from you. The Role You'll be responsible for diagnosing, locating and repairing leaks on domestic water supplies, as well as installing and replacing water service pipes. The role covers everything from initial fault finding through to excavation, repair, reinstatement and customer handover. Working independently, you'll manage your own workload while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Locate and diagnose leaks on customer-side water supplies. Carry out excavations and reinstate driveways, footpaths, paving, concrete and tarmac. Install, repair and replace domestic water service pipes. Complete repairs from internal stop taps through to external boundary connections. Use CAT & Genny and other utility locating equipment prior to excavation. Work with a variety of pipe materials including MDPE, copper, lead and legacy pipework. Provide excellent customer service while working in occupied homes. Complete work safely and in accordance with industry standards. What We're Looking ForWe're interested in candidates with experience in: Water mains repair and installation. Customer-side leakage detection. Domestic water service replacements. Excavation and reinstatement. Leak detection using listening sticks, ground microphones or similar equipment. Safe excavation practices and buried services detection using CAT & Genny. Independent field-based engineering work. Desirable ExperienceExperience in any of the following would be advantageous: Trenchless moling. Customer-side Find & Fix programmes. Supply tracing, Cobra tracing or gas tracing. Boundary box and point-of-entry installations. Cutting and capping. Insurance-related leakage repairs.
