Stock Condition Surveyor Contract: 3 months Day rate: up to 300 per day Location: West Sussex, hybrid working available Start Date: ASAP Overview We are working with a well-established social housing provider who are seeking an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor on a 3-month contract. The focus of this role is to support the organisation in assessing the condition and remaining life of key housing components while capturing accurate asset data, including energy efficiency information. Key Responsibilities Undertake stock condition surveys across residential properties Assess the age, condition and remaining lifespan of key components, including: Kitchens Roofs Windows and doors Other main building elements Record component data to support lifecycle planning and future investment programmes Collect energy efficiency data, including: Loft insulation levels Window and door specifications and measurements Ensure all survey data is accurate, consistent and uploaded to the relevant asset management system Identify any immediate maintenance or compliance concerns during inspections Support the wider asset management team with data validation and reporting where required Requirements Experience working as a Stock Condition Surveyor within social housing or a similar environment Strong understanding of building components and lifecycle assessment Experience collecting and reporting on asset and energy efficiency data Familiarity with asset management systems and mobile data capture tools Good attention to detail and ability to produce accurate survey records Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Desirable Knowledge of SAP or EPC-related data collection Experience working on planned maintenance or asset investment programmes For more information, please contact Branwen Johns on (phone number removed) or email your CV.

Compliance & Building Safety Officer Location: Somerset Hourly rate: Up to 18.85 PAYE Contract Type: 3 months Overview Our client is looking for a Compliance & Building Safety Officer to help ensure residential properties meet all required safety and compliance standards. The role combines technical knowledge with strong communication skills, requiring effective engagement with residents and close coordination with contractors. Surveyor - Planned Works & Contract Management Location: Primarily Wiltshire & Hampshire with travel across other sites Contract Type: Permanent, hybrid working (Based from home with travel to sites) Salary: 43,000 - 45,200 + 55p per mile Hours: Overview: This is a full-time project/contract management role focused on overseeing planned works and one-off projects across social housing stock including extra care schemes. You will be responsible for managing works from survey through to completion, including site inspections, contractor management and ensuring health & safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and deliver small to medium maintenance projects and leasehold works focused on external walls and building fabric. Inspect, diagnose, and develop solutions for building defects and put works out to tender Write technical specifications and for remedial and planned works. Manage contracts, including KPI monitoring, monthly meetings, and processing valuations. Carry out regular site visits, monitoring contractor performance, H&S checks and quality-checks at key stages of the projects Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all works.
