The Role As Trade Counter Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the trade counter, supporting both trade and retail customers, maintaining stock and helping to drive sales. Key Responsibilities Provide a friendly, knowledgeable and professional service to trade and retail customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing trade account customers. Identify opportunities to develop new trade business. Process customer orders accurately using the point of sale (POS) system. Advise customers on plumbing and heating products. Maintain stock levels and ensure the trade counter is clean, organised and well presented. Assist with goods in, stock control and deliveries. Support colleagues across the business to deliver excellent customer service. Help achieve trade counter sales targets and contribute to business growth. About You The successful candidate will have: Previous experience working on a trade counter within a plumbing merchant, builders merchant or similar trade environment. Good knowledge of plumbing products and parts. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. A proactive approach and positive work ethic. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A full UK driving licence. What's on Offer? Salary up to 36,000 depending on experience.
