We manage a wide range of domestic repair projects, coordinating customers, trades and suppliers to ensure works are organised efficiently and completed to a high standard. Our projects can involve a number of different trades and stages of work, so good communication, organisation and attention to detail are essential to keeping everything moving. As our workload continues to grow, we are now looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team based at our Rackheath office . About the role Working alongside our project management and operations teams, you will help coordinate repair and restoration projects from initial instruction through to completion. This is a varied position combining project coordination, administration, scheduling and customer communication. You will help make sure the right trades are in the right place at the right time, materials and information are available when needed and customers remain informed about the progress of their repairs. There will inevitably be occasions when schedules change or unexpected issues arise, so we are looking for someone who can remain organised, think practically and help find solutions. For someone with experience in project coordination, construction administration, property or building services, this could be an excellent opportunity to take the next step towards a career in project management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supporting Project Managers with the delivery of insurance repair and restoration projects Coordinating trades, contractors, appointments and works schedules Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects Following up outstanding works and actions Liaising with customers and providing regular progress updates Communicating with trades, suppliers and other parties involved in projects Maintaining accurate project records and documentation Assisting with ordering and coordinating materials where required Updating internal systems with project information and progress Identifying potential delays or issues and escalating these appropriately Helping resolve day-to-day problems affecting project delivery Supporting projects through to successful completion Skills and Experience We are looking for someone who is highly organised, comfortable dealing with different people and able to keep track of multiple jobs and priorities. Ideally, you will have: Previous experience within project coordination, project administration or a similar role Experience within construction, property, insurance repairs or building services would be advantageous Strong organisational and prioritisation skills Ability to coordinate multiple jobs, appointments and deadlines Confident and professional communication skills Good attention to detail Practical and proactive approach to problem solving Strong administrative and IT skills Ability to work effectively within a busy team Confidence taking ownership of tasks and following them through to completion You don't necessarily need to already be a Project Manager. As part of their continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Working Supervisor with strong practical knowledge of Layher System Scaffolding to join their team. This is a hands-on supervisory role, so you will be working alongside the team while taking responsibility for the safe and efficient running of day-to-day scaffolding operations on site. Role overview You will supervise and support scaffolding crews carrying out the erection, modification and dismantling of Layher System scaffolding, making sure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and supervising scaffolding teams on site Working hands-on alongside the team when required Overseeing the erection, alteration and dismantling of Layher System scaffolding Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures Carrying out checks and inspections of scaffolding and Layher components Coordinating with site management and other contractors Planning workloads and helping the team meet project deadlines Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and housekeeping on site Identifying and resolving issues as they arise About you We are looking for someone with solid scaffolding experience who is confident leading a team while remaining hands-on on site. You will need: Strong practical experience with Layher System Scaffolding Previous experience supervising or leading scaffolding teams An in-date Scaffolding card SSSTS A good understanding of scaffolding safety standards and site procedures A full UK driving licence The ability to lead by example and work well as part of a team A reliable and professional approach to work An HGV licence would be advantageous, but is not essential. Further training will be provided to support your development within the role.
