Site Manager Brighton MET College Fitout / Refurbishment Local Fitout Contractor Start Date: Monday 29th June 2026 Contract Length: Circa 12-weeks Location: Brighton The Shore Group are working with a Sussex-based fit-out contractor who is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fitout and refurbishment project at Brighton MET College. The programme on site is expected to be 10-weeks, though the Client would like to get this indiviudal in 2-weeks prior (Monday 29th June). This individual will act as the No.1 on site for this fast-paced £1.5 million project, reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager. Note: Strong M&E knowledge is highly desirable. Estimator - Retail & Property sectors Brighton, Hove The Shore Group exceeds £200million with multiple specialist divisions, including Integrated Services. We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to take commercial responsibility for multiple small-scale projects simultaneously. Integrated Services are a fast-paced division, working across both the Property and Retail sectors. You will support the commercial team in delivering tenders ranging from £5k to £500k, in line with our client requirements, such as B&Q and Morrisons. The role is primarily office-based in Hove (5 days per week), with occasional ad hoc site visits. Key Responsibilities: Preparing accurate cost estimations for retail, residential & commercial projects based on tender drawings, specifications, and site visits. Evaluating project risks and pricing accordingly to ensure commercial viability. Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and negotiate competitive prices. Producing detailed tender submissions and supporting documentation. Working closely with the operations and contracts teams to hand over secured projects effectively. Requirements: Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines. Previous experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, ideally within retail & residential sectors. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and estimating software. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
