Our client, who are a specialist residential developer, are looking to recruit a Site Manager with internal and external package management skills for a long-term contract in the Richmond area. The development With a project completion date of late 2027, this development will be creating c.250 apartments over 6 x RC frame blocks ranging in height from 5-7 storeys. There will also be 4 terraced blocks of 3 storey traditional build homes all piled on a ring beam foundation and is built over 2 phases. The position Reporting into a Project Manager, you will be a SM on this development. You will be responsible for managing external packages as well overseeing the Fit-Out part of the project. There will also be a commercial and technical team based on the project that you will interphase with. Other duties will include sending regular updates to senior management, as well as attending progress meetings with direct staff and sub-contractors. The candidate The ideal candidate will have a proven background as an SM (at least 2 years+). They will also have a solid background overseeing and assisting with the delivery of internal/external packages on large scale multi-phase developments. It is also desirable that the candidate comes from a main contractor or developer background and has solid IT skills.
