Estimator Nottinghamshire but Hybrid role£50,000 - £60,000 basic Company Vehicle OR allowance, 25 days plus banks, pension, Genuine career progression We are looking for an experienced Senior Civils Estimator to take a leading role in pricing and tendering civil engineering and highways projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team working on some of the UK's most interesting construction schemes. The Role You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive tenders for a range of civil engineering works. Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you'll analyse tender documents, produce cost estimates and Bills of Quantities, assess risks, and engage with clients and the supply chain to deliver high-quality submissions. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering and highways projects Produce take-offs and Bills of Quantities Price works from first principles Review tender documents and raise queries where required Assess project risks and opportunities Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations Support tender programme development Liaise with clients and internal teams during the tender process What We're Looking For Proven experience as an Estimator in civil engineering/highways Strong site background within civil engineering projects Knowledge of Specification for Highway Works (SHW) and Sewers for Adoption Experience with estimating software (e.g. Conquest ) Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines Desirable HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent in construction/engineering Experience pricing drainage, highways, earthworks, or structures projects What We Offer Salary up £60,000 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Pension scheme Optional private healthcare Discount gym membership Flexible working options Opportunity to work on exciting UK construction projects with a supportive and ambitious team.
