However there is a high likelihood this position will go permanent after 3 months. Type of work: Handyman 3 Month Sick Cover contract with potential to go permanent after this date. Location: Darent Valley Hospital, DA2 8DA. Rates: From 17.50 per hour, 12 hour shifts - 3 days, 3 nights then 4 rest days. Alternative shift options available upon enquiry. A client of mine who is a Large Housing Association and Property Maintenance Team are looking to Grounds Maintenance Worker to join their Property Maintenance Team in the North Hampshire area on a permanent basis. To deliver our service for Grounds Maintenance you will be required to take 60% of your annual leave from November to March, leaving 40% available from April to October. This will allow the team to use your annual leave whilst still delivering an excellent service to our customers during peak service delivery. You'll complete grounds maintenance works to various properties and housing associations, local authorities, schools and private landlords. What you'll do: Undertake general grounds maintenance on estates, play areas and void properties Grass cutting and strimming Pruning, weeding and spraying Hedge cutting Turfing and seeding Sweeping and clearing paths and hard standings You will work a standard 40 hour week from October to April (8am to 4.30pm). A client of mine who a leading property landlord is looking to recruit a Contracts Manager (Grounds Maintenance) on an initial 12 month FTC. The role is paying 45,000- 55,000 for an experienced Candidate, or 35,500 - 45,000 for a senior Grounds Maintenance candidate looking to elevate their career. The Role: Reporting to the Lead Contracts Manager - Estates, this role will support in the management of our cleaning and grounds maintenance contracts across the south of England as we work towards procuring new contracts. There will be a requirement to travel across a portfolio of properties as necessary in the preparation for successful mobilisation of these contracts. Tasks could include recording access requirements, mapping grounds maintenance requirements and assessing against current specification, as well as working to resolve customer tasks. The role will also monitor and evidence contractor performance throughout the delivery cycle ensuring all regulatory and legislative obligations are met. Working with contractors to ensure all health and safety obligations are met, regular meetings are held and site inspections including auditing of the quality of works are completed.
