As CAD Designer, you ll be working closely with designers, artisans and fabricators, transforming creative ideas into detailed, accurate drawings ready for manufacture. You ll ensure each bespoke piece reflects the company s exceptional design standards, materials and craftsmanship. You will also be maintaining design databases, support prototype checks and contribute to installation and aftercare documentation. This family run business has established a solid and long-standing history within the independent kitchen marketplace over many years and due to natural growth and strong referrals they are seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer for their Solihull Showroom. They sell both high-end German kitchens and British In-frame kitchens and you will be handling their client s design visions from initial contact through to completion. You will be working with a team of administrators for the ordering and scheduling, project managers and installers along with your fellow designers based among their various showrooms. Skills and Experience sought from the Kitchen Designer: Strong design and sales background within the independent kitchen marketplace Able to work to deadlines and targets A natural flair for design, presentation and customer service Good IT skills and CAD literate (they use Compusoft Winner and EQ) Full driving licence essential On offer is a basic salary of between £28k and £34k plus a very good commission structure, pension, laptop, mobile phone and travel expenses. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a full time, experienced Project Manager with a joinery background to join their team. The successful candidate will be managing large and often complex projects from point of order, through planning, design development, manufacture, and installation with the aim of delivering superb quality and service, on time and within budget. Projects range from highly decorative freestanding furniture through to significant architectural joinery installations with contract values up to 5m. The role also entails line managing a small team which includes a Design Engineer and Draughtspersons. Our client, a specialist in luxury bespoke joinery for luxury residential interiors, is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their talented team of designers and cabinet makers in rural Somerset. In this role, you ll be responsible for producing precise 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD, supporting projects from concept to completion. You will be collaborating closely with designers, architects and project managers, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and technical accuracy. They would be open to hybrid working and can offer access to 3D modelling using Fusion 360 and/or Inventor should that be of interest.
