Our client is renown as an experienced Interior Decorating Studio with sophisticated elegance and low-key luxury. The Principal Designers are as respected for working in an innovative and modern way as much as they are for the timelessness of their more traditional projects. With an extremely busy workload they are currently looking for a Designer to join one of their design teams based centrally in London. There will also be some travel involved both within the UK as well as abroad (which can involve overnight stays). The Role & Responsibilities: Assisting with designing and managing projects from initial enquiry to completion Drawing and altering floor plans and elevations in CAD and by hand, as necessary Assisting with schemes - Sourcing ideas for fabrics, furniture and all other hard finishes, liaising with suppliers and requesting samples and quotes Producing sample and presentation boards Drafting building schedules from paint specifications to bathroom specifications and all other FF&E items and once ordered, creating schedules to manage deliveries and installation Placing orders, co-ordinating collections and deliveries and monitoring them against deadlines Maintaining and developing fabric and finishes libraries Skills and Experience expected from the Interior Designer: At least 5+ years' experience in a similar role within the luxury residential UK marketplace Strong organisational and time management skills, as well as good administrative skills IT literacy in all Microsoft Office programmes (Outlook, Word and Excel) plus PowerPoint Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign Highly numerate and articulate, good interpersonal and communication skills Understanding of traditional and contemporary materials, furnishings, accessories and artwork sourcing would be beneficial Possession of a driving licence In return: Salary is between 36k and 40k dependant on experience 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays Life Assurance and Company Pension Excellent staff discount and Christmas bonus

The Technical Designer will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed working drawings for bespoke furniture and joinery projects. The role involves interpreting architects' and interior designers concepts and developing them into clear technical drawings suitable for manufacture and installation. This is a key technical role requiring strong CAD skills, attention to detail, a good understanding of joinery construction and the ability to manage multiple projects at different stages. This family run business has established a solid and long-standing history within the independent kitchen marketplace over many years and due to natural growth and strong referrals they are seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer for their Leamington Spa Showroom. They sell both high-end German kitchens and British In-frame kitchens and you will be handling their client s design visions from initial contact through to completion. You will be working with a team of administrators for the ordering and scheduling, project managers and installers along with your fellow designers based among their various showrooms. Skills and Experience sought from the Kitchen Designer: Strong design and sales background within the independent kitchen marketplace Able to work to deadlines and targets A natural flair for design, presentation and customer service Good IT skills and CAD literate (they use Compusoft Winner and EQ) Full driving licence essential On offer is a basic salary of c£40k plus pension, laptop, mobile phone, travel expenses and an excellent commission structure. OTE: £75k to £80k. The role will be Monday to Saturday with a day off in lieu.
