This is a contract position for an initial 9 to 12 months, offering the chance to make a real impact on quality delivery and documentation management for a critical construction programme. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end delivery and closure of quality documentation, specifically Contract Data Books. Maintain Data Book trackers and ensure timely client acceptance. Provide on-site quality leadership and guidance to the project delivery team. Ensure quality assurance plans and systems are effectively implemented and maintained. Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and related QA documentation. Conduct audits, monitor compliance, and support resolution of non-conformances. Support the use of quality systems on-site and assist in delivering business-wide quality programmes. Attend regular site meetings and liaise with client, subcontractors, and internal teams. Produce weekly progress reports and updates for senior quality leadership. Ideal Candidate Profile: Formal qualification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO, BSI Diploma or equivalent). Certified Internal or Lead Auditor. Demonstrable experience managing the compilation and acceptance of Data Books. Strong understanding of QMS/BMS implementation and continuous improvement practices. Practical experience with welding, NDT, pressure testing, painting/coating, and concrete activities. Effective communicator with experience working on active construction sites.
