I am looking for a Groundworks Site Manager for the Birmingham area. Ideally you will have a site engineering background and will have worked your way up to Site Agent/Manager level. My client specialises in Groundworks/civil engineering and has recently opened up a new office to cover the Midlands and North West of England. I am specifically looking for a Site Manager to cover the Birmingham/West Midlands region. Typically project range from half a million pounds up to around ten million pounds. My client is picking up a lot of work due to both repeat business and bringing new clients on board. They have offices in several locations and their business started in the South West where they still have a strong presence. My client's reputation is a solid one and they are known for delivery and quality in the earthworks, remediation and groundworks sectors of industry. They look after their staff financially and can offer a pleasant working environment with a high staff retention %. Ideally you will come from a similar background and will have been working for one of the Midlands groundworks specialist contractors. You must have SMSTS/SSSTS and ideally first aid. I'm looking for 2 permanent Site Engineers for my client based near Warrington. You'll have at least 3-4 years experience and be able to work on a stand alone basis. I need candidates with a bit of nous who have worked with bulk earthworks, civil engineering and have a hands-on 'no nonsense' approach.
