Due to organic growth and a steady pipeline of work they now require an additional experienced Business Development Manager - Commercial Fit Out with the capability and drive to continue this growth and continue aiding to the growth of the business and expanding the reputation built in the market place. They offer a dynamic, fast paced, thriving, fun working environment, you will be working for a small, close knit team that has exciting plans for the future. They focus on projects between 1,000 and 15,000 square feet. and project values range from £20,000 - £500,000. Job Role of Business Development Manager - Commercial Fit Out * Creating new business opportunities through contact with key decision makers, via telephone, social media, email and on the odd occasion, face to face. * Sourcing new opportunities, effectively negotiate and influence with decision makers and arranging appointments with potential clients for our sales team to visit. * Identifying key decision makers/ influencers and approach them accordingly * Building lasting relationships * Managing the pipeline of the business and accurate forecasting Essential Experience for a Business Development Manager - Commercial Fit Out The ideal candidate will have: * Minimum 1 year B2B new business sales experience * A natural sales flair and experience in cold calling new business * Ability to build a rapport with senior managers/ directors & high level decision makers * Ability to adapt approach for maximum conversion * Experience within the Building and Construction industry and more essentially towards fit Out * Good IT skills * Strong negotiation and objection handling skills * Self-motivated, driven, tenacity & determination * Strong work ethic If you're ambitious and passionate about winning new business, then we want to hear from you. Our client is an established, independent specialist in office design and refurbishment, project management, fit-out and furniture supply. They have a vast amount of experience and an impressive portfolio of projects. They offer a variety of services including space planning, design and building and Internal Fit Out. They predominantly cover the South East but have taken on projects for clients across the UK. They are currently in the market for a Contract Manager to manage their expanding portfolio of projects. As a key member of the team you are the one that makes sure that all projects are completed on time and within budget. As a Contracts Manager - Commercial Fit Out you are the central pivot between the company and the clients & your job is to liaise with the Project & Site Managers, the suppliers and the clients so you must be able to communicate with all levels from Directors to sub-contractors. The Role * The Contracts Manager has overall responsibility for the projects on site, and the allocation of work involved in these projects. * Managing and working closely with the Pre Contracts and Projects team, ensure that projects are delivered on time, in budget and adhere to legal compliance. * The Contracts Manager should manage these responsibilities with a preventative, not reactive approach. * Manage Projects Managers and Site Managers effectively * Forecast the workload for Pre Contracts Manager and Contracts Managers. * Oversee the financial aspects of each project. * Ensure that the Health & Safety delivery mechanism for each project is being adhered to. * Accompany the Sales team to new business presentations. * Oversee the quality aspects of each project. * Visit sites on planned and spot check occasions. The Candidate * Project/Contract Management background. * Good commercial understanding * Knowledge of a wide range of Building and Construction methods * Experience as a Contracts Manager - Commercial Fit Out * Solid construction experience. * Design and Build or Traditional Fit Out background * Excellent people manager. * Experience of managing multiple tasks. * Ability to speak in a credible manner. * Excellent presentation skills. * Gravitas. * Ability to deal with staff and clients on all levels. * Must be able to drives. * Lives within commutable distance to Central London * Experience of working on multi million pound projects If you are looking for a new challenge and the chance to progress in one of the UK's leading Independent Interior contract please send your CV in for consideration
