This residential developer who build high volumes of quality homes require a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team and look after three projects in the Cambridge area. For this role you will be office based near Stanstead with site visits when necessary.
As a Project Quantity Surveyor you will be looking after circa £50m worth of projects at any one time. One project which you will be involved in form day one is a residential development consisting of 48 traditional build houses that is due to be on site in April. This project is £14m and there are others of similar value which you will look after depending on ability.
The client requires Project Quantity Surveyors looking to apply to have experience running projects close to this value and experience working on residential projects. Now they've started on site at the end of last year, they're now after a Document Controller to join their team, ideally with Asite Experience.
It's essential that you have at least 1 years experience working on a construction site using Asite.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and control the drawings, specifications and design information between the project team and external parties, ensuring that the latest revisions are administered and distributed promptly
* Coordinate all activities related to the document control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence
* Filing all hard copy documents in appropriate folders and keeping up to date drawing and document registers
* Carry out routine document management administrative tasks including document release and publishing, technical query handling, transmittals, filing, copying and local library management
* Collation of tender submission documentation, and contract documentation
* Contacting suppliers, chasing orders, processing paperwork.
* General filing and office duties.
* Collation, management and distribution of reports, documents and contracts
* Coordination of O&M Manual production on each project
Requirements:
