Some of your responsibilities whilst working with our client will be: * Responsible for managing all project costs from pitch to completion. * Undertaking cost analysis & preparing reconciliation documents. * Attending meetings and liaising with stakeholders on commercial matters. * Monitoring the cost of site resources. * Inspecting and valuing sub-contract works. * Completing sub-contract orders & payments efficiently to avoid any discrepancies. * Preparing & sending out accurate Bill of Quantities documents. * Aiding with monthly cost & value reports, quarterly reports & cash flow information. Job Title - Project Director/Business Development Manager Salary - £60k-£80k + package + bonuses Location - Fulham Client There is a unique opportunity for a senior construction professional to help grow the construction/project arm of a highly reputable company. Our client currently specialise in fit & refurb projects and also planned and maintenance works. The 2 directors of the company have a long term goal of growing the business to become a well known contractor in the prime parts of London and are hoping to venture into more new builds type projects. They are looking for an individual who can help them win new business and then project manage the projects. Ideally we are looking for a Project Director with excellent commercial ability, as a big part of the role will be dealing with tenders and dealing with clients, however, a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with Project Management experience may also be suitable. The candidate will have an excellent reputation in London and also would have built up an extensive contact list over their career. Essentially you will be running a separate part of their business and you will be given a lot of responsibility. You will not be micro managed and you will run your week as you see fit. If you feel its beneficial to be out of the office all week meeting with clients and building up new contacts, then that's your choice. The candidate will be incentivised will built in bonuses and commission which would be closely linked to the amount of new business brought in and of course turnover. They specialise in mainly new build & refurbishment work of residential, commercial & heritage projects. They currently have 2 Contracts Managers working for them, but due to their increased work load, a 3rd is needed to help manage the work load. Their typical project values are between £0.5m and £1.5m. Site Manager/Production Manager | Kent | New Build Developments. The Company: Our client is an established developer who specialise in traditional/high-end builds. They are a family owned business who have huge growth plans for 2017. Due to ongoing project, this latest project is looking after the production of their modular builds factory from the initial stages of productions all the way to the product set up on site. The Role: Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following; * Ensure that the programmed dates are achieved * Assist the contractors and subcontractors to ensure they have a full understanding of the required program dates * Ensure that all building operations are carried out in a safe manner and that all method statements and risk assessments have been reviewed and checklists completed * Conduct and monitor tool box meetings, health & safety training and TQM training, including site inductions and site training are conducted as necessary * Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest standards of quality * Assess the quality of work at all stages.
