All applicants must have must have; - A valid CPCS Card - Relevant experience On site duties include but are not limited to, the Safe operation of a dumper truck, site clearance, drainage, footings, concreting, foundations then external works. Must have a tracked dumper ticket. Paying an attractive rate of up to £13.00ph. Working hours are Monday - Friday. My client is a large and established housebuilder who are involved with an ongoing project, in Edinburgh. They have a requirement for a Finishing Foreman, to work on a contract till September. Daily supervision, planning and co-ordination of new build and refurbishment Contracts. Site management of all trades from ground works to high quality finishing trades. Ability to control, organise and manager labour and subcontractors. Knowledge of Health and Safety for construction site. Liaison and co-ordination with Client and their representatives. Planning and documentation of activities. Ability to read and fully understand construction drawings. Awareness of cost control. Accepting responsibility of site control

Identify, evaluate and manage the Company’s exposure to project risks. • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. • Manage the project budget. Analyse project revenue, margins and profitability, including cost-to-completion projections. • Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, along with the monitoring of receivables for projects. • Review and negotiate project contracts/specifications/terms and conditions. • Identify potential variations to contracts and prepare/submit/negotiate claims for variation orders. • Conduct effective performance appraisals of team members • Help the team execute career development plans. Essential • Educated to degree or equivalent level in Mechanical Engineering, or similar. • Extensive experience in both product design and project management that has been gained in the oil and gas industry. • Task driven with first class project management skills - driven to achieve project schedules and budgets • Computer literate, proficient with ERP systems, Microsoft Project, MS Office packages, CAD systems. • Experienced in international business and prepared to travel

My client is seeking an experienced supervisor, ideally time served in carpentry or joinery with good all round maintenance and practical skills to join their department. This is a highly varied and challenging role where no two days are the same and you will be required to carry out a wide variety of maintenance tasks including repairing large wooden structures and buildings. You will need to come from a saw mill background and be competent in all carpentry/joinery tools i.e chainsaw, sawmill, and large petrol powered hand tools. You must be fully conversant with health and safety and hold a full driving licence with no more than 6 points. This is predominantly a day shift position, however, due to the nature of the business you will need to be very flexible with a "can do" attitude.
