An established practice with a considerable portfolio of prestigious projects have a challenging and expanding workload at present. Having recently secured a number of high profile projects, they have a need to increase their team. With 3 offices in the UK, they currently require a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their South West London/ Surrey studio within a permanent role to work on various schemes in the Residential and Education sectors. They are experiencing an increase in workload having taken on a number of medium to large scale residential schemes at tender and construction stages within London and the South East along with continued progress into the Education sector. These projects are being undertaken solely from their London office and they require suitably qualified and talented professionals to join them. Applicants should demonstrate a strong technical capability that will be required to lead and manage the technical outputs of the studio and also have excellent IT skills preferably and primarily in Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop and InDesign along with general IT skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite will also be beneficial. PROJECT MANAGER (SITE BASED) - STRUCTURAL STEELWORK / POWERSTATION CONTRACT £280.00 - £350.00 per day (6 months) STR's client is a leading Structural Steelwork Fabricator, with great heritage and a proven track record of delivering structural steelwork and associated building materials to the the Petrochem/Nuclear industries. Due to continued growth there is an opening for a site-based Project Manager to join the business. This is a site based role, working within a NAECI governed powerstation, converting from coal-fired to Biomass. MAIN DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage day to day operational aspects of the project - Daily/weekly planning and monitoring against master programme of works, utilising MS Project. - Sub-contract and direct labour control and management - Maintain site records, in accordance with company procedure and the Quality Assurance programme - Maintain the highest levels of Health and Safety QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid. Appointed Person qualification would also be a distinct advantage. Experience of working in within the structural steel industry is essential, and you will have worked worked under the blue book/Naeci agreement. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - LONDON - CONTRACT - UP TO £31ph STRIDE is working with a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy firm in South East London looking for a Structural Engineer for a 6 month contract. We are looking for a Structural Engineer for a potentially long term contract role to complete a mixture of residential and mixed use building structures projects in London and throughout the UK. The ideal candidate for this Structural Engineer requirement will come from a technical background and will be vastly experienced in building structures design work in a UK based consultancy setting. The successful candidate will become involved in a variety of projects ranging in value from £10-50million with this busy London based office; projects will vary from masonry residential buildings to steel portal frame mixed use projects so varied experience is desirable.
