As an assistant QS you will support the seniors and Commercial manager to help control all aspects of the commercial, financial and contractual elements of the designated projects in order to control and maximise the company's profitability. Their project portfolio consists of award winning design and build housing with projects ranging from £1 million up to £500 million in value. This business has been established for around 70 years and is well known for retaining a high percentage of long term serving staff, which is a result of their culture, training and support schemes. My client is continually reviewing their employee's goals and ambitions and are dedicated to assisting them in achieving them. There is currently an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a £150 million new build social housing scheme in the West London area. The successful candidate will be the number 1 surveyor commercially responsible for this project and they will report into a Commercial Manager. This person will: - Ideally have a degree in quantity surveying - Have at least 10 years' experience in new build Social Housing Projects - Be ambitious and want to achieve the best career for themselves This is a great opportunity to work with one of the most recognisable contractors in the UK.
