My client is a very well established Joinery business located in Brent cross who is currently recruiting in order to fill the position of a experienced CNC Operator/Programmer with Joinery experience. The successful candidate will need a minimum of 3 years experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer within the Joinery industry. The successful candidate will be required to: •Produce accurate manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD 2013 Or Inventor 2013 •Produce CNC programs using AlphaCAM (5 Axis) •Edit NC coding for parametric programming using Xilog Plus •Ordering of required materials •Liaise with customers and sales/estimating team To be considered for this role you must have: •High proficiency in AutoCAD or Inventor (2yrs experience) •Knowledge of AlphaCAM will be beneficial •Knowledge of NC code will be beneficial •CNC knowledge is required •5yrs + Architectural Joinery knowledge (preferable other joinery sectors will be considered) •Can work unsupervised as well as in a team •Good telephone manner

Role/Position: CAD Office Manager Responsibilities: Organise workloads through CAD team, meeting manufacturing schedules, deadlines and budgets. Produce and co-ordinate in-house drawings to provide both manufacturing details for production team plus site setting-out for install teams when jobs are supply and fit. Maintaining standards and regulations within design proposals. Manage, motivate and mentor CAD team to ensure they comply with internal procedures, undertaking annual appraisals and ascertaining training needs. Ensure resources within CAD office are maximised and work is distributed according to technical ability. Project Manage jobs up to an approximate value of 100k. Communicate directly with architects and clients to ensure their design requirements are met, attending site meetings. Ensure design requirements are within the estimated budgets. Collectively gather information with the assistance of the Project Manager on projects to enable the design process to commence. Controlling and issuing drawings on DMS schedule for approval, via various platforms associated with any particular project (i.e. extranet). Bespoke material sourcing for project specific. Co-ordinate with Production Manager relevant projects through the production process. Report on projects related to Project Director as required

Job Title: CAD Designer Sector: Aluminium and Curtain Walling Salary: £35k We are looking for a Cad Designer to grow our Architectural and Fire Door and Screen divisions. Work includes designing Facades and Entrances in aluminium, stainless steel, glass and curtain walling and timber. Pyrostyle Fire Doors and Screen, complying with standard drawings and approval / certificated methods, finishes include stainless steel, PPC mild steel, brass and bronze, for a variety of clients including Architects, Main Contractors and Developers. Job Description: Joining our current motivated and dynamic design team the role will involve producing detailed design drawings, in line with architectural concept drawings, production of material fabrication drawings, schedules for ordering and fabrication. There will be the need to liaison with our estimating, manufacturing and contracts departments as well communication with clients, structural engineers and architects and designers. The successful CAD Designer will have: • Technical drawing background for architectural metalwork, Auto CAD proficient. • Some knowledge of metalwork, welding, fabrication • Understanding of architectural/Construction processes • Ability to read drawings – plans sections details etc. • Pragmatic and creative flair • Good communication skills • Ability to work on their own initiative and without direct supervision • Good organisation skills and ability to work to deadlines • Relevant technical or practical experience Desirable: • Site and surveying experience • Programming of CNC machinery • BIM/Revit Experience Where required, the successful applicant will receive mentoring and support from the existing team, and there will also be the opportunity for on-going training and development. It is anticipated that the role will grow and develop with the continuing growth of the business. The hours of work are Monday- Thursday 08:30-17:00. Friday 8:30-12:30. Competitive Salary
