My client, a large national housing contractor, are currently looking for a Site Manager to come and assist them in the management and delivery of their decent homes framework. The project is an internal decent homes programme. Works you will be managing include kitchen and bathroom replacements,electrical re-wires, replacement of central heating systems and internal decorations. All of these works will be carried out to local authority properties. Your main duties will include management of sub-contractors, health and safety talks, inspecting properties pre and post works, holding progress meetings and managing the overall delivery of the programme. We are looking for a Groundworks Labourer to start on a site in Wellingborough. You will be working for a well established groundworks sub-contracts inserting fosroc into a culvert. You will also be assisting the civils gang on different jobs, learning aspects of groundworks. My client is currently looking for Fitters in the South West London area. They supply and install equipment such as awnings, parasols, sail shades, outdoor structures, pergolas. They are looking for fitters with experience of mechanical fitting, ground-works or strong skills from another construction trade such as carpentry. The job includes surveying, installation and maintenance of our equipment, right across the UK. This is a hands-on site-based job. A mature can-do attitude is required. The role involves duties such as- -Liaising with tenants and operatives to arrange repairs, -Dealing with work orders, -Planning repairs works for pre and post inspection, reactive, voids and emergency repairs, -Prioritising emergency works, -Booking appointments and allocating works to the available operatives, and following works from start through to completion, -SOR Experience- NHF schedules of rates -Effectively communicate any concerns about work quality and ensure operatives have the right material to complete their work, -Ensure all relevant data is up-dated on a timely basis, -Any other ad-hoc roles that may arise. Experience and Skills Required- For this role, you must have a good telephone manner, be organised, have the ability to prioritise work, and pay attention to detail.
