HEAVY PLANT SALES MANAGER 30K - 40K BASIC, OTE 90K PLUS CAR, AND BENEFITS BIRMINGHAM AND SURROUNDS Our client is a hugely successful business established for over thirty years. They are at the forefront of commercial vehicle and plant safety equipment and are a market leader that have been established for over 30 years. Due to business growth, we are looking for a Heavy Plant Sales Manager to join the team. The role will be heading up the Heavy Plant Sales team and will be focusing on growing sales and opportunities for their full range of technical products through proactive contact with companies within industries such as Construction, Civil Engineering, Quarry & Mining. This will be a fantastic opportunity to join a very dynamic growing company, selling a market leading award winning range of automotive products. The earning potential and scope for progression is excellent and would suit someone looking for their next challenge and to be part of something exciting with plenty of autonomy. Main responsibilities will include: Leading and building the division Recruitment, training and management of sales team as it builds Researching target clients Attending face to face meetings and presentations to key decision makers Following up leads generated by internal sales team Fact finding and building long term relationships with senior level clients Explaining technical product information, features and benefits Carrying out on site demonstrations Conducting pitches, tenders and presentations to blue chip clients Negotiating on contracts and large volume sales Account managing and growing the business with existing and new customers Attending trade shows Main skills and experience needed will include: Outgoing positive personality with a can do entrepreneurial attitude A background within Heavy Plant sales or similar An ability to build a successful team Able to build relationships and communicate well with all types of client Possess an ambitious driven approach Able to work under pressure and to targets Well organised and IT literate Candidates will receive excellent benefits including 25 days holiday, free parking and uncapped lucrative bonus structure "Serata Search are operating as an employment agency
