My client is looking to appoint a Design Manager in Inverness, on a contract basis, initially for 6 months. My client is a leading Tier 1 main contractor who deliver projects across a range of sectors including health, education, highways, justice, defence and aviation. My client is looking to appoint a Design Manager in Inverness, on a contract basis, initially for 6 months. My client is a leading Tier 1 main contractor who deliver projects across a range of sectors including health, education, highways, justice, defence and aviation. The project is a new build prison where the team is currently 6 9 months from completion. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing Design Manager, overseeing the 15 remaining work packages. The work packages include tasks such as landscaping, flooring, fit-outs, and internal joinery, alongside more complex prison-specific requirements. The successful candidate must possess strong technical knowledge and collaborative behaviours to engage effectively with the team. Experience and qualifications. Experience in working as part of a Tier 1 contractor design team. Experience of working on prison builds (desirable) Security clearance - Disclosure Scotland Level 1 Design qualification Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Technical experience and knowledge.
