I have a great opportunity for a domestic gas engineer to work for a Facilities Management company covering various commercial facilities. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join a leading, UK Building Services provider on an extremely prestigious contract on a corporate site based in Milton Keynes, working on a full time permanent basis.
Your main responsibilities in this role will be managing two teams of Shift Engineers on site, delivering PPMs, reactive works, also minor project works on site. In addition to this, you will oversee Subcontractors on site, ensuring all works are completed to programme, budget and quality standards expected and in a professional and ethical manner adhering.
Please note: Shift pattern is 4 days on, 4 days off 07:00 to 19:00
Duties:
* Ensure the works are undertaken in accordance with all HS&E legislation.
* Manage subcontractors, service providers and operatives to construct the works safely.
* Review, produce and monitor Task Control Sheets and Method Statements for all works.
* Ensure site inductions are carried out.
* Ensure works are coordinated to ensure suitable safe access and segregation is maintained.
* Understand project objectives and communicate to site teams.
* Set up teams to complete sections of work.
* Recognises change on site and retains records as required by the established change control process.
* Assists in establishing procedures to ensure that all safety documentation is collated and retained for example scaffold inspection records, PUWER records etc.
* Participate in knowledge share events.
* Develop day to day plan for site operations from project programme.
* Be fully aware of the resource requirements to effectively complete a section of work.
* Be familiar with supply chain procedures.
Candidate Criteria:
* CSCS card desired
* IPAF and PASMA is desired
* Must hold formal mechanical qualifications in mechanical engineering, plumbing and/or combustion.
* Relevant experience will include working in building services, managing a team of multi disciplined Engineers and delivery of general electrical and M&E services.
