Thanks to a recent expansion, they are currently recruiting for an professional and client facing Legionella Consultant based in and around the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will ideally come from a legionella consultancy background and have a proven track record of delivering in-depth and technical legionella risk assessment to a varied site base, as well as, providing ongoing consultancy service to clients advising on any preventative measures required. Consideration will be given to applications from Solihull, Stafford, Walsall, Coventry and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
Will come from a strong educational background, holding a relevant degree would be beneficial.
Must hold relevant approved Legionella Risk Assessment course qualification e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent.
Extensive experience of carrying out Legionella risk assessments to commercial, industrial and healthcare sites.
A proven track record on providing a consultancy service and advise to a mixed portfolio of clients.
A good working knowledge of chemical treatment of cooling towers, steam boilers, process water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these.
Role:
Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments on a wide range of properties.
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers.
Providing recommendations.
Delivering legionella training.
Collating and producing comprehensive reports.
Thorough knowledge of Cooling Towers and Process Systems.
Managing client accounts and developing client relationships.

The ideal candidate will be have experience carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines and will have excellent water treatment industry knowledge. Consideration will be given to applications from Coventry, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Worcester, and the surrounding areas.

The individual must have attended City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment course or equivalent WMS qualification.
Have a proven track record of working as a legionella risk assessor with the water hygiene/water treatment industry.
Come from good chemical, technical, educational and consultancy background.
Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Be fully conversant with the water treatment industry Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
Role Will Encompass:

Prioritising workload and ensuring work is completed within timescale.
Travelling to sites as per client's requirements.
