Commercial
* Have an understanding of the type of building contract, and the key project stakeholders e.g. client, client’s representatives, design team etc.
* Have a full understanding of the scope of works for each sub-contractor package, and have access to a paper copy of each sub contract order.
* Liaise with the PM and PQS on works not deemed to be included within the scope of works for the project.

My client is a leading contractor in the Steel frame and Groundworks sector. We are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete an 12 month contract. You will be required to manage the engineering, including the setting out of the ground works/steel frame package.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
• Reporting and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety
• Completing all setting out associated to the ground works and steel Frame aspects.
• Raising technical queries on design issues.
Site Engineer Requirements:
• CSCS card.
• Previous experience setting out ground works and drainage.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served
Venesky-Brown Recruitment are looking for Site Agents for permanent work on a largescale civils project based in Plymouth. You will be involved in all major civils works associated with the project.
What you'll be doing:
Lead a team of Engineers, allocating suitable tasks and supervising the delivery of a section of works.
Ensure Site Engineers complete setting out in accordance with design.
Produce/review method statements and risk assessments, making improvements as appropriate.
Carry out site audits to check works and compliance documentation.
Understand construction methodology and develop/approve relevant procedures specific to the area of works.
In association with the Section Foreman, assess the plant and resource requirements to meet the demands of site and office-based works.
Supervise the erection, use, maintenance and dismantling of the temporary works, as applicable.
Ensure design drawings are marked up to reflect works completed as the works are finished.
Who we're looking for:
Degree qualified in civil engineering or equivalent.
Previous management experience is essential.
Experience in earthworks, drainage or heavy structures is desired.
