Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Regeneration and retrofit contractor in Leicester to hire a freelance Assistant Site Manager to assist on a reactive maintenance and repairs scheme on behalf of the council in tenanted properties. The duration of the contract is for 12 months work but it could be extended. The successful Assistant will preferably come from a background within the social housing sector and worked on similar schemes previously. Responsibilities: Managing trades such as Joiners, Bricklayers, Plumbers, Plasterers to carry out repairs/maintenance in tenanted properties. Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed within set deadlines. Reporting progress to senior management. Ensuring work is completed to the agreed high standards.
