We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman to oversee our projects. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver who enjoys working outdoors, has significant trade experience, and demonstrates excellent leadership and project management skills. This role requires someone who can see the big picture, ensure projects run both on time and on budget, maintain high standards of health and safety and creates a vibrant and positive atmosphere for a long term team of contractors.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a joiner or carpenter (or possibly some other trade)
Minimum 2 years of experience supervising or managing others.
All round understanding of what it would take to work with other contractors to help deliver a project; 90% of which would be garden rooms.
Strong planning and coordination skills to ensure projects run smoothly.
Natural problem solver with the ability to keep the team working efficiently.
Excellent leadership skills, capable of coaching and supporting team members.
Self-motivated and directed, with a focus on project completion.
Friendly and sociable, committed to both the team and company Directors.
Driver with own vehicle.
High standards of project management and resource coordination.
Ability to make commercially sound decisions that priortise the companies goals.
Conscientious attitude, reliability, and consistency.

Qualified Electrician- South London My client are a leading social housing outfit. With over 15 contracts working on behalf of different councils and housing associations all over the London Borough, they are looking to expand their team due to their influx of work rapidly increasing and are after qualified tradesmen to join their team of skilled individuals. We are looking for an Electrician based in Lewisham and surrounding areas Permanent role (Up to £53k) 42.5 hour week Responsibilities for the Electrician role: Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on social housing properties. Responding promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers. Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. Conducting inspections and identifying areas requiring maintenance or repair. Collaborating with other maintenance team members and contractors as needed. Qualifications for the Electrician role: NVQ level 3 18th Edition 2391 - Test and Inspection (preferred) Experience working in social housing or similar environments. An established national Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and Facilities Services provider Job Details Carry out Electrical Services, Planned Maintenance (PPMs), Reactive works M&E repairs and able to carry out minor basic fabric repairs. Accountabilities PPM in adherence to set SFG20 engineering standards. All in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act requirement and to company safety procedures and contract specification. Respond to Reactive Works to include all Mechanical & Electrical and minor fabric issues. Adhere to the out of hours call out rota (as required). Correct and timely completion of paperwork according to company policy and procedure. Provide engineering condition reports and quotations. Logbook auditing. Skills / Training Demonstrate competence in all areas of your primary trade (with valid certification) Delivery of service excellence Reasonable understanding and a proactive approach to the following other trade skills: Electrical: Competent Fault finding; 18th Edition, C&G 2330 levels 2 & 3, NVQ levels 2&3 & C&G 2391 Test & Inspection; electrical servicing; basic controls Miscellaneous: meter reading; emergency light testing; water temperature recording; alarm testing, basic small fabric repairs. Electrical Supervisor - LONG TERM! We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the electrical works on multiple new commercial projects. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations comply with safety standards and project specifications. The ideal Electrical Supervisor will have a strong background in commerical electrical systems and proven experience in supervisory roles. Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities: Supervise all electrical installations and ensure compliance with project specifications as the Electrical Supervisor. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate electrical work effectively. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high-quality standards as an Electrical Supervisor. Mentor and train junior electricians, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols. Ensure all electrical work is completed on time and within budget as the Electrical Supervisor. Prepare reports on project progress and electrical issues for management review. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical problems during the construction phase. Client Facing.
