After their successful expansion in the North, they are now ready to expand at their second office in the West Midlands. Based out of their fabulous offices in the Wolverhampton / Codsall area, you will have a minimum of two years in industry outside of further education whether it be from College or University. BTEC or HNC as a minimum is required for this vacancy. You will be detailing and draughting work for interesting and varied schemes up to £10M. Your focus will be the drawing of LSF and SFS, light gauge steel and pre panelised steel structures. Such projects may include student accomodation, hotels, medium rise apartments up to 10 storeys, healthcare centres, schools and colleges etc to name a few. You will be proficient and yet will have an eagerness to learn more and develop yourself, as such, this business prides themselves in investing and developing their people further. Detailers using other 3D detailing software may be considered, but Tekla users are much preferred. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience using Tekla structures software and be competent in the detailing of hot rolled and cold rolled steelwork of a wide variety. Candidates must have solid experience of working in the steelwork industry or associated industries. You will be expected to produce Tekla models with all necessary steelwork component fully detailed and work with design team colleagues and Revit technicians in completing a complete 3D model of the modular units, ensuring clash detection between all materials and elements within a modular unit.
