The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry and has supervised operational Construction teams previously.

We are recruiting for an experienced Civils Network Delivery Supervisor based in the South West.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry and has supervised operational Construction teams previously.
This role would suit an experienced highways inspector or Construction from the Telecom or Utility sector.
The main duties include the responsibility for the following:
Supervision of sub-contractor civil teams.
Co-ordinate with Sub Contractor and field engineering teams to ensure delivery of required daily productivity.
Monitor the quality performance of works and adherence to Customer and HAUC Specifications.
Coordinate all Highway activities with local authorities and back office staff ensuring appropriate Notices and traffic management are in place.
Recording of Day to Day productivity, through onsite measuring of all construction works onsite.
Maintain and amend build plans / maps where required.
Deal with day to day issues and problem solving regarding onsite activities.
Liaise with the local authorities and the general public with regards to works onsite.
Comply with Health & Safety and environmental policies.
Responsible to ensure van audits, onsite audits carried out.
Deal with toolbox talks, QA memos and liaise with Quality auditors.
Provide technical support to include onsite planning.
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills & qualifications:
Minimum of three years’ experience working within the Telecoms or Utilities industry preferably at a Supervisor or Highways Inspector level.
Must have NRSWA Accreditation
Extensive knowledge of NRSWA, SROH, Notices and Permits.
Good awareness of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Procedures, Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Construction Design Management Regulations and Section 74 Regulations.
Able to work with complex technical drawings.
Experience in surveying and detecting underground apparatus.

MMP Consultancy are seeking an interim Technical Officer (Inspector/Surveyor) based in South London covering three estates, interim rate Outside IR35 - £21.82 per hour LTD (With a view to go perm in Apr 2021)
Duties:
The Technical Officer will be expected to work under minimal supervision requiring a high level of trust and reliability whilst using own initiative, good time management skills and making appropriate judgement where necessary.
* Organising repairs, improvements and adaptations providing advice and support and liaising with caseworkers and/or technical staff.
* Visiting clients in their own homes and assessing the works required, having regard to the clients' choice and the needs of the property.
* Carrying out measured and dilapidation surveys as required.
* Responsible for carrying out regulatory checks in relation to legionella, asbestos, electrical and fire safety.
* Utilising a proactive approach to health and safety, in particular fire safety in high rise and low-rise buildings.
* Carrying out a proactive and preventative approach to ensure that communal areas are not neglected or misused and are maintained to a high standard.
* Carrying out and maintaining records for estate inspections to ensure good standards of housekeeping and maintenance are delivered.
* Completing written records following site inspections and escalating to the appropriate person if actions are required.
* Assisting the Asset Management Team to ensure health and safety compliance is adhered to.
Qualifications / Experienced:
Qualification in a construction related field i.e. Trade or ONC or qualified by experience to a similar level.
