Sub Agent is required to work on a freelance/contract basis on a live highways project.
We are recruiting for an established Highways contractor, they require a candidate to be involved with a highways improvement contract valued at circa £5m.
Working alongside an established site agent. This role will suit a candidate with experience of working with utilities due to the amount of diversion work involved with the scheme.
You will be responsible for managing the site works at NIGHT alongside a general foreman/supervisor and your responsibilities will include site briefings, checking and approving RAMs, liaising with Traffic management, induction, ordering materials if required, technical input, end of shift reports, issue and check permits and help manage safety.
The works involve the construction of a new lane being constructed on a live roundabout, new signalling, services, road construction.

The contractor is a privately owned regional organisation working in the highways/civil engineering disciplines.
