This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Planner to join a successful housebuilder with an established land pipeline and ambitious growth plans. The successful candidate will play a key role in securing planning consents across a range of residential development opportunities, whilst also supporting the identification and acquisition of new land. Reporting into the Planning Manager / Planning Director, you will take responsibility for managing planning matters from initial site appraisal through to the successful delivery of planning permissions. The Role As Senior Planner, you will work closely with the wider land, technical, commercial and development teams to maximise the planning potential of existing land interests and help strengthen the company's future land pipeline. About You We are looking for an experienced planning professional with a strong understanding of the UK planning system and ideally experience within the housebuilding or residential development sector. You will ideally have: Previous experience working within a planning consultancy, housebuilder, developer or local authority. Strong knowledge of the planning system and residential development. Experience managing planning applications from inception through to determination. Commercial awareness and an understanding of how planning decisions impact land value and development viability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
