You'll be joining an established & growing team of 4 energy assessors which are responsible for completing energy assessments across the UK for a variety of buldings (e.g., distribution centres, retail outlets, multiuse developments, residential estates, commercial offices etc). Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver complex energy assessments across a wide range of sectors. Produce Commercial Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) at a professional level. Conduct advanced building modelling using IES-VE or DesignBuilder for Net Zero Carbon reporting. Deliver residential carbon modelling and SAP calculations . Lead or contribute to BREEAM and BREEAM AP proposals and tenders. Conduct embodied and operational carbon LCA using OneClickLCA . Prepare sustainability and energy strategy reports for planning and compliance. Deliver feasibility studies for renewable installations (e.g., solar, LED, fabric). Act as a key advisor to internal PMs, QSs, and Surveyors on sustainability aspects of construction and retrofit projects. Shadow the Head of Energy & Carbon in client meetings and learn how to shape and scope deliverables into invoices. Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development. Ideally you'll have Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar consultancy or technical role. Level 5 EPC Assessor certification (essential). Proven experience with IES-VE or DesignBuilder . Working knowledge of OneClickLCA or other LCA tools. Understanding of BREEAM frameworks and requirements. Strong client-facing ability and communication skills.
